Charli xcx Joins YSL Beauty as New US Ambassador

Charli xcx has been named the newest US Local Ambassador for YSL Beauty, marking a new chapter for the beauty brand as it continues to align itself with a younger, more disruptive generation of cultural figures.

She joins a roster that already includes Amelia Gray, Lila Moss, and Laura Harrier. According to the brand, the partnership reflects a shared vision centered around edgy femininity, self-expression, and individuality.

The collaboration also builds on an existing relationship between Charli and YSL Beauty that has developed over recent months. The brand has been present across several of the artist’s recent public appearances and visual projects, from high-profile red carpet beauty looks to the raw aesthetic of her “Rock Music” video.

Created by YSL Beauty Global Makeup Artist Sam Visser, the first visuals of the partnership introduce the new Skin Affair Soft Glow Cushion Foundation, designed to create a fresh, skin-like finish with a subtle radiant effect.

In its official announcement, YSL Beauty described Charli as “a generational voice” who continues to reshape contemporary artistry and culture. The partnership draws from the legacy of Yves Saint Laurent, whose work consistently challenged traditional ideas of fashion and beauty.

The appointment arrives during a major moment for Charli xcx, whose visual identity and influence have expanded far beyond music into fashion and beauty. With this new role, she becomes one of the leading faces of YSL Beauty’s current global image.
