Hi, I am recently diagnosed with corona and recovered from it by staying at home.I am “immunocompromised” and getting treatment for a major health issue.Being very fragile,I still recovered from Corona virus.I am posting this video to help others who are immunocompromised like me to make them feel better,positive and confident.
This video is all about my experience with Coronavirus,how i got contacted,diagnosed and what i did as part of recovery process.
In a nutshell,
1)Go for Rapid testing if possible for quick results as quick as 20min.
Testing centers like CVS,Walgreens taking as much as 3 days for appointments and 7-14 days for results(based on our locations).
Government(department of public health)is also offering corona testing on walk-in and drive through basis.(the results will come in 5-10 days).
2)Don’t wait for the results.Just observe your symptoms(fever,loss of taste and loss of smell,sore throat,muscle pains,dry cough,stomach pain,rash(red patches on skin),diarrhea,loss of appetite).
3)Use appropriate medicines based on the symptoms(like Tylenol-fever,Advil-muscle aches).
4)Start taking Vitamin-c,zinc,vitamin-d as part of daily routine.(i used airborne immunity booster).
5)Daily monitor your temperature and oxygen levels for every 2-4 hours.
Temperature with Infrared thermometer is best.
Oximeter to measure Oxygen and heart beat.
6)Oxygen level below 90 is a warning.so you must call to your doctor and tell your concerns.
Any fever that is not getting reduced in 3 days,you must contact the doctor and mention your concerns.
7)Gargle 3 times a day with Warm water with salt and turmeric.
8)Steam your face for 3 times a day with salt,turmeric and a clove.breath-in and breath-out for 25 times each with mouth and nose.
9)Drink plenty of warm water(try to avoid cool drinks,ice creams)
10)completely avoid Sugars.
11)Try to take protein rich foods like eggs,meat,nuts and beans.Take dry fruits as part of your diet.Eat balanced meals.
12)we prepared a natural concoction out of tulasi leaves,basil leaves,mint leaves,cloves,peppercorns,turmeric.Boil for 10min and let it get to warm.when the liquid is warm,filter it and add some lime juice and drink it.
13)Try to spend in day light to get natural vitamin-d to your body.
14)isolate yourself from other people and be socially responsible by reporting to other people with who you get in contact with.
15)Try to do simple breathing exercises and meditation/yoga to strengthen your lungs.
16)Take plenty of rest and don’t strain your body.
17)if you pass first one week of cycle and if you are feeling better,you are mostly out of danger.if not call your doctor.Don’t neglect if you have breathing issues or your oxygen level is below 88.
18)if you enter into second week and still not getting better,there may be chances of developing secondary pneumonia/breathing issues.(don’t get panic..i developed fever on my 7 th and 8th day,i got better from 9th day).
19)if you are in the third week of cycle,if you don’t have any symptoms,you are almost out of it.
You should be normal with out any medicines.
Your body starts developing antibodies and you are almost disease free.
20)Go for retesting if you need to or you can monitor yourself for 10 days without any symptoms.
21)Be brave,be strong,be positive and be optimistic and be confident.we can beat any viral disease.
