Grapefruit Nutrients And Health Benefits
Grapefruit is nutrient-dense fruit. It is a low calorie, low-fat fruit that has thick peel similar to oranges. It is rich in Vitamin C, A, E and B, calcium, magnesium, potassium, lycopene, fiber, and antioxidants. Its nutrient properties make it a great immune booster, your gut’s best friend, and lycopene also is known to fight against cancer.

Grapefruit has high water content which makes it ideal for weight loss. Similar to lemon, it is believed that if you consume grapefruit juice prior to meals, you tend to not gain weight as much. It is also a heart-healthy fruit. The American Heart Association gave grapefruit and grapefruit juice its tick.
