Russia all set to launch ‘world’s first COVID-19 vaccine on August 12

Russia hears good news while the world is at over the corona. The Russian-made vaccine, called Gum Kovid Vaccine Lyo, will be released on August 12. The country’s health ministry has made this clear once again. Health officials said arrangements were being made to give the vaccine to everyone in the country and the process of registering the vaccine would be completed within this week. The vaccine was developed by the Gamalea Research Institute in Russia and the Ministry of Defense. By the 21st day after vaccination, the immune system is strengthened to fight the virus, and with the second dose it is doubly effective.
The Sputnik news agency reported that the vaccine was made with adenovirus components. In June, clinical trials were conducted on 76 volunteers, half of whom were vaccinated and the rest were vaccinated in powder form, officials said. Officials said the vaccine gave good results in both types of tests and increased immunity in all of them.
Meanwhile, there are many suspicions about this Russian-made vaccine. The World Health Organization has also expressed concern over Russia’s vaccine announcements. Suggested that they follow the guidelines prescribed for vaccine preparation. The United States, on the other hand, reacted differently to the announcement of Russia’s vaccine release. Anthony Fouchi, an expert with the U.S. Department of Infectious Diseases, said he hoped Russia would make the decision after testing the vaccine in all its forms and confirming the results. Fouchi suggested that Russia reconsider its position before the vaccine was pumped out.
