The field of vaccine development has evolved since the first vaccine in the late 18th century CE. I created this video to share my understanding of the current technologies being used in the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 took the world by surprise; we are still disturbed and traumatized by the global effects of a pandemic event that were completely unexpected. The world is better prepared now to respond with better science, and better understanding of the history of pandemic infections.
