UV radiation can damage the DNA but we also need it for making vitamin D. In this video I talk about how the cells in our body have mechanisms for repairing DNA and how we might help that process. As far as getting enough sun to make the vitamin D that my body needs, I admit to relying on supplementing since I tend to cover up more than I want sun exposure.
