Works well with a nice large dose in one small soft gel. I take 50,000IU a few times a week and these allow me to do so without a handful of pills.
Always be sure to supplement large doses of D3 with vitamin K2 (particularly MK4 – MK7) to keep the calcium in your bones and out of your blood vessels.
Doing so also reduces any risk of vitamin D toxicity- which is very tough to accomplish anyway.
Im so glad Amazon carried Now Vitamin D3 in a 10,000 IU pill that is taken once a day. The less I have to take medication and supplements throughout the day the better.
The pills are small, oval capsules which are very easy to swallow and thats a plus as well.
I am Vitamin D deficient I am supposed to take 50k IU / week and this does the job. It shows up on my bloodwork results and I can really feel a difference in my energy level and Mood when I take it.
Its a small thing but I really appreciated the descant packet that comes in the bottle to keep the humidity down. I hate it when all the pills stick together.
The descant really helps this product last longer IMHO.
My blood work shows it works. I also feel the effects as I don’t get the muscular fatigue and insomnia associated with low D-3 which I had before this supplement.
I love NOW products, needed Vitamin D per my doctor, these little buggers pack a lot of IU’s in one tiny pill! I’m sold!
