On today’s What America’s Thinking, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds most voters would rather states keep social distancing restrictions as is rather than lessen them. 45% say keep as is, 34% say more restrictions are necessary, and 20% say less restrictions.
This survey was conducted online within the United States from September 10 – 14 among 3,758 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 1.60 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
