This Video is the address by Minister of State for External Affairs Shri V Muraleedharan at the 4th Edition of CII Global Ayurveda Summit 2020 inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri Venkaiah Naidu.
Shri V Muraleedharan said that several policy level initiatives have been taken by Ministry of Ayush and Ayush has published Guidelines for the registered practitioners of the different AYUSH Systems. The Guidelines contain information and advisories which play an important role in the management of COVID19 pandemic. The Ministry of Ayush has also released a set of guidelines for boosting immunity and measures for self-care by using Ayurvedic principles. Ayush has launched “Ayush Sanjivini” mobile application for understanding the measures adopted by public for enhancing immunity and keeping themselves healthy in the difficult COVID 19 situation. Hon’ble Minister mentioned that the upward trend for Ayurvedic products is not only expected to position India as a source of inputs for Ayurvedic system of medicine but also help AYUSH become a key pillar of the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat enforced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi.
