If you live in an area relative to the equator with little sunshine (particularly in the autumn/winter), you might want to considering supplementing with vitamin D, but which vitamin D is more effective- Vitamin D2 or D3?
I live in Minnesota and will most likely be supplementing this winter after going much of last winter with a deficiency (blood test came back severely deficient at a little over 7).
Do you supplement with vitamin D? The Vitamin D council is a great source of info online, and Dr L Wilson has some good info at his website, who is known for suggesting everyone supplement 5,000 iu/ day for adults.
