It is important to consume seasonal veggies because they give
the nutrients we need at that time of the year. Make sure to add
these five veggies to your diet this fall:

Sweet potato- filled with vitamins, mineral and antioxidants.
They help support brain health, immune health, eye health
and gut health.

Squash- filled with vitamin A and C, as well as folic acid and
magnesium. It helps control hunger because of its high fiber
content, so if you’re trying to lose weight, make sure to add
it to your diet.

Mushrooms- filled with antioxidants that help boost out immune
system and protect against heart disease. You can eat them
eat them raw, grill them or even cook them in the microwave.

Broccoli- it is filled with Vitamin A, C and E. It also has fiber,
which helps with digestion and overall health. It’s easily available
at truck stops and restaurants.

Carrots- they have beta-carotene, which is a B-complex vitamin
that the body turn into Vitamin A. Vitamin A is important for
eye health, by protecting your eyes from the sun and preventing
cataracts. As a driver, I know that eye health is important, so
make sure to eat carrots. You can add them to smoothies, eat
them on their own, or with hummus.
