My name is Dawn Kellum. I am a 45 year-old mother and wife whose weight has fluctuated for years throughout my adult life. My average weight has been in the 220s as in these photos. My lowest weight was when I was approximately 190 pounds in 2017 (see picture).
Since the beginning of the 2020 Pandemic (March 2020) and losing two family members (my Dad and my sister) due to Covid19 complications in May 2020, my weight increased from approximately 205 lbs to right around 230.
My current weight as of my last weekly weigh-in on September 5, 2020 was 218.2 (see 9/7/20 pic). That is a total of 11.8 pounds lost from 230 pounds! Yay!
My goal weight is 170. I have not been at that weight since I was a teenager in the ’90s. A weight of 170 would place me into a normal BMI for my height and body structure.
I have 48.2 more pounds to lose of my 60 pound weightloss goal! That goal would place me about 20 pounds lighter than me in this photo.
Diet Strategy:
-Intermittent Fasting
-Drink plenty of water (1/2 of my weight in ounces per day)
-Low-Carb
-Low-Sodium
-Daily Multi-Vitamin
-No Caffeine (allergic)
-No Artificial Stimulants
-No Diet pills
-No Laxatives
-No Pop or Sodas (allergic)
Workout Strategy:
Since my lowest adult weight – when I weighed around 190 – was obtained primarily through cardio kickboxing and strength-building, I will re-attempt the same Cardio-Kickboxing and Strength-building strategy to help reach my goal of 170.
Please feel free to share any healthy suggestions, recommendations and tips that may help me along this journey. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
