OK. Somewhere early on rumor got started that the SARS-CoV-2 was mutating and well…all life on Earth was going to be wiped out. Or something like that.

Let’s be clear–all viruses mutate to some degree. They divide too fast for some errors not to occur.

But if a virus mutates and becomes too deadly, it will wipe itself out. So instead, most viruses become more contagious and less deadly in most cases.

So, while there have been some minor mutations with SARS-CoV-2, the virus, now almost 9 months later, has had only very small changes. And actually, because the virus has been spreading so fast it has been becoming less and less different (more homogeneous) over time.

While some who only think in the mainstream medical model would think that this means that a vaccine can be made, for me, if means that it just further reinforces that idea that, once you’ve been exposed, your immunity will last for a very long time.

Just like we knew from the beginning.
