Vitamin C is a great water soluble antioxidant that is very important for the development of new blood vessels, helps with moods based off of oxytocin release, and helps with fatigue and beneficial for impaired blood flow. Dr. Burkenstocks Vitamin C Power Smoothie Recipe:
Ingredients
1 small Mango
1 small Banana
1 Red bell pepper, chopped
½ cup Strawberries
½ cup Raspberries
12 oz Non-dairy milk – (almond, coconut, cashew)
3 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Ginger
1 teaspoon Dr. Burkenstock C-Power 2000 supplement
Directions:
1. Clean and chop red bell pepper.
2. Peel mango and slice into small pieces.
3. Put mango, banana, bell pepper, strawberries, and raspberries in a blender.
4. Add 8 oz. of non-dairy milk and blend until mixed.
5. Add in the honey, ginger, and Vitamin C supplement and blend until smooth.
6. If you’d like thicker smoothies, use less liquid and add ice.
7. Pour into cups and enjoy!
