We Can Enhance Our Immunity with These Natural Remedies!
The body’s own defenses determine if a condition becomes serious or is resisted, says Richard Ruhling, an MD who was board-certified in Internal Medicine before teaching Health Science at Loma Linda University.
Ruhling uses the example of multiple factors in high blood pressure to suggest a similar situation for Covid. He cites Pritikin’s report 45 years ago that a diet low in fat, oils and salt, avoiding alcohol and caffeine but getting exercise and sleep, helped 85% of patients off their drugs for hypertension, reported at the American College of Cardiology in Anaheim circa 1976.
Multiple factors affect our immunity. The flu season comes after the holidays with indulgences of cookies, cakes and candies. Sugar lowers the phagocytic index—the bodies ability to engulf germs. How much sleep and exercise we get, sunshine, fresh air, positive attitudes, and water (better than IV in a hospital) are a key.
Wuhan had multiple problems—a wet market where people bought cats, rats and bats for eating. Pollution of air so bad, some risked life to protest in Communist China. It was also a premiere city for 5G roll-out, but some are raising red flags for radiation problems. Cities in general are higher risk that country or rural places.
We can enhance our immunity. Instead of indulging in sugary food which makes our white blood cells lazy, we can skip a meal to make our white cells more hungry for germs. Vitamin C and herbs like echinacea or garlic may help. The flu of 1918 was far more lethal than this covid virus but instead of 10-20% fatality, the Battle Creek Hospital had over 400 flu patients, but only two deaths. What made the difference? Excellent diet and the hot and cold treatments that stimulated immunity—twice as many white cells circulating after hot & cold.
