Ingredients
Chayote
Green Serrano Chilli
Ginger
Granny Smith
Lemon
Limau Kapas
Papaya (slightly ripe but firm and crunchy)
Red Capsicum
Tomato
Fish Curry Powder
Cracked Black Pepper
Method
I juiced everything except for the last two items in my Kuvings MOTIV-1 slow juicer.
Then, I added four heaped teaspoons of fish curry powder and some cracked black pepper and zapped everything in my Kuvings SV-500 Vacuum Blender for 15 seconds.
Verdict
Its savoury and slightly spicy from the green Serrano chilli, ginger, pepper and fish curry powder. The acidity from the limau kapas, lemon and Granny Smith balances the spiciness very well. I am very pleased with this juice,
Notes
The black pepper is for the piperine, which increases the bioavailability of the cucurmin in the turmeric, one of the ingredients in the fish curry powder. Besides Vitamin, the lemon and limau kapas have citric acid, an essential phytonutrient for lipolysis and glycolysis, the metabolism of lipids and glucose, respectively.
