Here are some thoughts. As we take sunbathing, sunlight triggers the synthesis of Vitamin D within our body. Sunlight is a free source of natural energy that has so many benefits to human life. Some of us don’t pay attention to understand what are some other benefits of sunlight other than it is being the main source of Vitamin D.
Here are a few benefits of sunlight that is worth sharing for those who already don’t know:
1) Stimulates the body’s production of Vitamin D, a vital nutrient that protects bone and fights disease. Relieves stress and depression and helps enhance mood.
2) Reduces blood pressure by changing the nitric oxide, a small messenger molecule, in the skin and blood according to a 2014 study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
3) Improves sleep because the energy of sunlight creates a hormone called melatonin that is critical to help sleep.
4) Functions immune system better because the immune system can weaken due to the lack of vitamin D.
5) Heals skin problems such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other fungal infection. Consult with skin doctors.
