BEETROOT: Beetroots are healthy as it’s abundant in phytochemicals and bioactive compounds. Beetroot contains phytochemicals like betalains, Flavonoids and polyphenols. Beetroot is also having diverse mineral like potassium, sodium, Phosphorus, copper, zinc, magnesium etc. In fact beetroot is considered as one of the ten vegetables having highest amount of antioxidant activity. So you can consider Beetroot as a medicine direct from nature against various health disease. When you eat a beet root you feel like you are eating an anti oxidation, an anti-inflammatory, an wound agent.
CARROT: If you want everlasting healthy skin, hair and beautiful eyes you must eat carrots. Carrots contain mainly four types of phytochemicals. Namely, phenolics, carotenoids, polyacetalenes and ascorbic acid (VIT C). Dietary intake of phenolic compounds are directly related to favorable health impacts. Particularly due to their anti oxidant activities such as anti ageing and anti inflammation. These compounds help in maintainanc of normal glucose level, cholesterol level and normal functioning of immune system.
And protect against cancer.
Dietary intake of carotenoids help in protection of DNA, lipids, blood vessels from Oxidative damage.
