After meal blood sugars can be dramatically improved by simply going for walks right after each meal. For every minute we walk after meals, our blood sugars 1 hour after eating can be decreased by one to three points for every minute we go walking. In diabetics that can be as much as a 90 point blood sugar drop after walking 30 minutes.
