Here are the top 5 supplements I recommend everyone to take for general health. Below are links to some products that fit my recommendations. I’m not affiliated with any of these brands and do not receive any compensation for my recommendations. These are products that I believe to be of good quality and reasonably priced.

Vitamin C:

B-Complex:

Omega 3:

Multi-Mineral:

Vitamin D:

Vitamin C: I recommend taking 4000-8000 mg per day. Break up the dosage however you want throughout the day. If you get a liposomal vitamin C or Ester C, 4000 mg. will be enough. If you get sick or are feeling like you’re getting sick or are having higher levels of stress you can bump the amount above 4000 mg.

B-Complex: This will have all the B vitamins from B1 through B12 that you need. These are super important for enzymes, energy production, brain health, healthy nervous system, etc.

Omega 3: There are a few sources of Omega 3s. You can either get it from fish oil or krill oil. These are really good for healthy cell membranes, reducing inflammation, and helping with recovery from exercise. The one I recommend below is from fish oil and is in triglyceride form rather than ester form like some other fish oil supplements you’ll find, which means it’s better absorbed and less likely to oxidize and lose its benefits.

Multi-Mineral: Minerals are just as important if not more important than vitamins. It depends on the mineral, but minerals play a role in every function in the body.

Vitamin D- I recommend taking 5000 IU/day, especially in the winter months. From late spring until early fall if you get outside and get plenty of sun then your body will produce enough of its own vitamin D and you don’t really have to supplement during that time. Most people don’t get enough sun though. If you don’t get much sun then I would recommend supplementing with vitamin D all year round.
