Protein rich kanji with just 5 ingredients, Healthy kanji recipe, Immunity booster drink
This protein rich kanji drink is made form 5 grains and nuts namely
1. Ragi or Finger Millet – Rich in calcium and iron
2. Sago or Sabudana – Contains antioxidants and starch
3. Gehun or Wheat – Fiber rich grain. It also lowers risk of stroke
4. Split Green Gram or Moong Daal – Rich in antioxidants, potassium, magnesium and fiber.
5. Almonds – Lowers cholesterol, contains Vitamin C, Magnesium, Potassium and Calcium.
All the ingredients roasted and powdered, and with flavorings substance like cardamom and nutmeg, this is easy to prepare at home and tastes great too. It is an ideal breakfast option.
With this measure we can prepare 25 to 30 servings of kanji
Ingredients
100 gms each of ragi, sabudana, wheat, moong daal and almonds
1 tsp cardamom powder, grated nutmeg.
To prepare 3 cups of kanji,
1 and half cups of water
4 and half tbsps kanji powder
3tsps sugar or as per taste
2 cups of boiled and cooled milk.
