People are saying that the coronavirus is “as dangerous as a normal flu”. But this is not true. We are dealing with a virus that is much more contagious and also much more dangerous. In this video we draw comparisons of how fast the flu viruses of the past spread, compared to COVID-19. You will also learn to calculate the doubling interval using Austrian data. We also review how the healthcare system in Austria will handle the critical cases and how long before overwhelm.
The examples in the video are for Austria, but the same principle applies to all countries.
