2021 A.P. Giannini Fellow Sydney Ramirez is an infectious diseases fellow at UC San Diego and postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Shane Crotty at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology. Dr. Ramirez, together with a group of world-renowned immunologists and infectious diseases physician scientists, has been diligently working since the start of the pandemic to discover better methods for assessing and enhancing protective immunity to SARS-CoV-2.
