[Music] I realized I used to take like no supplements at all but it was mostly because I honestly didn’t really know what they did or which ones I needed especially when I was going through my weight loss Journey like I felt like I should be taking stuff but I did not know where to start but now when I look at my routines I realized I take take a lot of different supplements throughout the day but it’s because they’ve all actually made a difference in my health my fitness routines like I need to finish chugging this one right now so want to take you through my day and show you exactly what I take and how I take them because these are the ones like if I skip them I notice it and to me that means it’s working I need to remix this cuz it gets a little thick but this is the second thing I do every morning the first thing is electroly and that’s definitely like it can be just salt and water it can be electroly packs I kind of mixed it up but the next thing I do always is celery juice with a tablespoon of psyllium husk and this especially if you have any digestive issues if you’re trying to lose weight it can be such a game Cher and it’s kind of weird to get used to but it honestly has made a really big difference in my day and the celium husk is a soluble fiber so it like binds with water and helps pull and move things through your body so for me I started taking it because of constipation I knew I needed some more fiber in my diet but it’s like a tricky balance and the celery juice always helped me with that too so the combo of these two helps it be like this is so gross you guys I don’t know how El to say this though like the right texture so gross sorry but it just helps like keep you regular and then also because of that fiber it helps regulate blood sugar levels so you don’t get those big blood sugar spikes in the morning and can help with appetite too cuz it’ll help feel a little bit full so if you feel like you’re struggling with like eating too much having some more fiber like this can really help balance that out too I don’t want to skip over the electrolytes cuz they are really important and I started really focusing on adding them into my routine probably within this last year cuz I was waking up feeling very dehydrated and that happens to all of us but I don’t think we realize it so for me it was like felt like fatigued waking up and it was these little things where I just started feeling not my best and there’s so much more research coming out about how much we need more sodium more electrolytes in our day so I typically will do a teaspoon of sea salt in like 32 oz of water or just like one of those electrolyte packs with a bunch of water as well throughout the day Brian drinks them you had salt like every day huh I mean like every like throughout the day I never used to but now I do he does so much more and I think especially as girls Sal but you think it’s going to make you like bloated and puffy and retain water but if you don’t get a little bit of salt in there or a little electrolytes you’re just kind of like going to retain more water cuz your body’s not absorbing it into the tissue and then it’s not flushing out the way that it needs to if you’re not actually getting hydrated so electrolytes are definitely one that I like now have made a staple in my daily routine we’re getting ready to out and another supplement that I started taking probably six months ago and I feel like this is actually like again Ryan like got on this kick he’s been on a crazy fitness journey this year and this is one that like always works mostly for men but there’s been so much research showing how beneficial and how important is for women so for 6 months or so I’ve been doing it every single day when I work out and it’s really helped me with my muscle tone I feel like it gives me more energy and helps me recover and that’s creatine so I do a scoop in water with a scoop of my wing woman it doesn’t really taste like anything but I like having the wing woman in there to get like my vitamins vitamin D vitamin C everything and it makes it taste better okay the thing to know with creatine is it can be bloating for the first week or so of taking it so just know that that might happen if you do it’s 5 gam that you take a day and it’s really great for exercise performance recovery and then the new research is showing how beneficial it is for like cognitive function and memory too which is really cool you said that you know you don’t have to use wing woman I mean it’s not great by itself so use do do yourself a fav use something just cut it One supplement I’ve always taken in some form or fashion is a multivitamin because although obviously I really prioritize trying to get all my nutrients from my food it is really hard to make sure you’re getting all your vitamins all your minerals enough veggies all the things without just literally eating all day long and while your girl loves to eat and I am a snacker I also want to find ways that are just more practical so one of my newest supplements is these gem these are real food vitamins so they’re actually like I was just eating one I’ll show been taking for years and years and years probably like six years now that I feel like has had one of the biggest impacts on just like my overall mental health and mood and stress levels is ashwaganda ksm66 ashwaganda so that’s the type of ashwaganda I use in this but I noticed a difference when I switched from just random ashanda I bought off like Amazon to using the KSM 66 because it has like a very specific process where they get the Ash and how they get it it has it like to be like the most pure best most highly researched ashanda that actually like proves that it helps reduce stress helps manage like your hormone levels cortisol levels there are so many different benefits I think that’s the craziest thing for me is like I’ve been taking it for so long now like I know when I felt that difference happen happen and that like shift in my body and my mind and everything but it’s always wild to me when I get emails and DMS and reviews from you girls when you’re taking Missi regularly and you’re like I like I feel it I feel the difference cuz I felt it for so long so I don’t get that like hit all the time anymore but when you first start taking it and you go from feeling like stressed out and blond and like hormones kind of all over and then you take it every day and you’re like I always told Ryan I felt like myself again I felt like all of a sudden like there was like a switch that went off and I was like oh I know this girl I like [Music] it okay so I’m going to kind of combine protein and collagen they’re similar but very different collagen is a protein but it’s not a complete protein so my Elsa plant protein I take every day because here’s the thing most women are like wildly below the amount of protein they should have every day just for maintenance maintaining their muscle mass bone all these things that we need and just General Health most women are probably getting around 60 g of protein a day if they’re lucky and we need to be hitting well over 100 so I always tell people the goal really should be if you’re trying to lose weight at a minimum hitting your target weight in grams of protein so say you’re 160 lb and you feel like 130 is a healthy weight for you you should be eating at least 130 gam of protein all the way up to your current weight somewhere in that range so you want to get that in complete proteins chicken fish and eggs all those things I do it from my Foods first of course but then I take about two or three scoops of my plant protein every day which is 20 G each to help me get there it is hard to get enough protein just by eating Whole Foods all day they if you’re eating just like chicken and eggs it’s going to be a lot of food a lot of calories and honestly in our lifestyles we just don’t have time for that so that’s where like a protein supplement comes in the other supplement I take and I’ve taken for years and years if you guys have followed for a long time you know collagen I used to do Bine collagen I won’t name the name of the brand but you all know it and I loved it for a really long time but then I felt like it just wasn’t having the impact that I thought it had so since then I mean that was probably 78 years ago so much research has come out on collagen and it’s kind of crazy I get my collagen now on my natural beauty it’s a marine collagen type one which is the ideal type of collagen if you are focused on things like your skin your plumpness firmness reducing fine lines and wrinkles your gut health type 1 collagen and Marine collagen specifically naol collagen which is what we use in here has the most science-backed research and like clinical studies on it a lot of collagen doesn’t which is why it is hard to tell unless there’s actual studies on it like the one we use in here but I’ve always done it for those things and I just felt like the Bine collagen wasn’t cutting it for me anymore so that’s when I started really getting into it and eventually put it in natural beauty because of all the skin benefits and hair benefits that come from that type 1 Marine collagen but when it comes to of collagen you actually only need 5 gr a day that’s the crazy thing all these Brands will like sell you on 15 gram of marine collagen you don’t need that much all the study show 5 G especially if you’re doing natic call is all you need for actual results over that is like just unnecessary okay so I contribute my skin to taking that the last couple of years like adding that supplement in I still when I took my like the old collagen I would have breakouts all the time still it just it didn’t cut it so now I’m like I don’t ever breakout my my skin is so nice moisturized it like just feels more hydrated even as a hypo girl it has been a game Cher plus there’s prebiotics to help with gut health and a ton of other benefits for like skin care but it’s not just your face skin it’s like whole body so if you’re taking a collagen check it because of it’s not a naol marine myself I’ve talked about this 1 million times is increasing my protein trying to hit between like 130 150 g a day has transformed my body has transformed how I sleep how I feel so I get protein in at the night and then I add a little special ingredient that makes it the perfect supplement combo to sleep well and just feel my best this is my little sleepy time girl concoction and it’s kind of evolved Through The Years so protein I’ve always try to do at night because it is so good for helping regulate your hormones and blood sugar helping you sleep with protein synthesis we all know we need more protein and it kind of is just like a chocolatey dessert summer party has amazing things like magnesium and Gaba and Aline and chamomile it’s just like a really good balance that helps just relax your body and helps regulate your nervous system and just allows you to relax and sleep well but wake up feeling really good and then the last thing is the Magnesium so even though there’s some magnesium in slumber party I add more as many as 70% of women are magnesium deficient it’s hard to get enough and it’s so important to help our muscle relaxation help with anxiety help with our nervous system so I add more in there because I do feel like it really helps me with my like regularity but then also just adds to the recovery for my muscles and relaxation reducing cramps and all of how I incorporate them into my daily routine again for me it’s really about finding things that actually make me feel a difference like I notice when I take them I notice when I don’t take them and that are enjoyable to have as part of my day I don’t want want to just be like popping a bunch of pills like that’s just not me honestly I wish it was easier just to get everything we need and the foods we eat every day but it’s just not anymore so hopefully this gives you an idea of things that maybe you might want to add into yours that will help you feel better too and if you guys have any
