it’s really more important than ever that we give our body everything it needs in order to support a healthy immune system at t b12 we’ve pulled together a list of what we feel are 12 very important things that you can do on a daily basis to help support a healthy immune system number one would be to keep a positive t b12 mindset expect the best and don’t fear the worst and take every challenge as a roadblock and as a chance to learn to improve it’s really a great opportunity for self growth number two would be stay hydrated aim to drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water each day I try to do a bit more but if you’re very active and you’re sweating a lot make sure you’re properly hydrated number three would be eat your vegetables raw or lightly cooked because it helps retain the nutrients and ensures the body is getting everything it needs in order to achieve its best number four on our list is consume vitamin D spend time outside whenever you can getting some exercise taking in a bit of Sun and consume natural foods like fatty fishes could be yogurts and consider taking a supplement to ensure you’re getting what you need every day number five would be consume essential fatty acids you can take an omega-3 supplement if you don’t like fish or if you don’t have access to fish but if you do you can eat fatty fish like salmon or mackerel and even swordfish two to three times a week number 6 would be skipped some added sugar and avoid sugar whenever possible and especially artificially sweet foods with added sugars dad I’m talking to you number seven would be move for at least thirty to sixty minutes every day get up and get your butt moving be an active person on whether it’s a leisurely walk a high-intensity band workout or another favorite workout that you might have but you’ve got to take care of your body and it’s going to help your brain – number eight is get some extra vitamin C you can do that through consuming fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamin C or you can consider taking a supplement but either way get your vitamin C number nine is add more zinc to your diet so you got to identify a few foods that’s lamb seeds and nuts legumes and even dark chocolate fall into that category number 10 is don’t forget about your protein it’s your building block to a healthy body and you’ve got to aim to consume at least half your body weight in grams of protein every day for me I’m 230 pounds I need at least 115 grams per day um I get that through my tv12 plant-based protein I’d prefer the chocolate one but you can also get it through lean meats nuts seeds and legumes number eleven is prioritize your sleep that’s really where your rest and recovery comes from I push my body to the limits so I need to make sure I have a consistent bedtime routine in order to get those eight hours and be ready for the next day and finally number 12 get your probiotics into your diet and take care of your gut you got to incorporate them three they’re natural sources like yogurt and kefir or you can get them through a probiotic supplement the point of living a healthy life is to arm our internal environment our body with what it needs to combat anything that can happen externally and it’s really important to take care of our mind just as it’s important to take care of our body have a positive mindset think positively be optimistic and joyful our health is our wealth and we should always keep it as our top priority
