Do vitamin D supplements work or not? I’ve heard they’re not all that. Okay. Yeah. So, I’ve heard this a lot recently. People are talking about the fact that vitamin D supplementation is maybe becoming a bit too prevalent. It’s becoming a substitute for sunlight. And as a result, people are questioning whether they should be supplementing vitamin D. At the end of the day, nothing’s a substitute for actual sun exposure. No sunbed, no vitamin D lamp. You’ve got to be getting as much sun exposure as you can. Obviously, that’s going to be easier for some people than others. is going to be easier for somebody living in Rio di Janeiro than it is for somebody living in Scotland. It’s always the gold standard when it comes to vitamin D production and all of the other benefits we get from the sun. That aside, vitamin D supplements, do they work? Yes, they do work. It’s not as good as a vitamin D lamp. If you’re able to afford and get your hands on a vitamin D lamp, a good one, that’s a fantastic tool that is, in my opinion, better than vitamin D supplements, but that’s a big cost for a lot of people. So, if you can’t afford that, then getting pretty cheap vitamin D supplements, you’re still going to see market improvements from taking those. So, yeah, just cuz it’s not the gold standard, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. Get as much sunlight as you can. If you can’t get a vitamin D lamp, get one. But if not, just bang those vitamin D supplements.
