hey guys welcome back to my channel I’m MayraĀ
from low carb love now today I’m going to go over my supplements now this is the one thingĀ
that I get asked all the time whether it’s here or on Instagram you guys are asking me forĀ
all my supplements so I’m finally making a video supplements are really important becauseĀ
sometimes you do have to supplement because of your diet so if you’re not eating enough proteinĀ
or you’re not getting enough vitamins or whatever the cas is supplements can actually kind of fillĀ
that Gap bridge that Gap and so some of these here do just that now I’m definitely a supplementĀ
person like I have been taking supplements now probably for 20 years I will say that I hardlyĀ
ever get sick like I probably haven’t even had a slight little cold in over 3 years like I’mĀ
talking about everyone has been sick around me from my daughter to my mom to employees to justĀ
friends of mine like really really close people to me that I’m around all the time have beenĀ
sick from flu cold Co everything and um here I am so the first thing I do every every singleĀ
day is I take my um probiotic and my Prebiotic now you always have to make sure that you’re thatĀ
you are taking care of your gut so 70% of our immune system lives in our gut so what I do isĀ
I take a high quality probiotic the one that I take is from seed this is a twoin one so it hasĀ
the probiotic and the Prebiotic in one this is a one-of aind because it actually makes it allĀ
the way down into your colon and feeds all the bacteria that needs to be fed down there whereasĀ
a lot of the probiotic and prebiotics out there aren’t able to do that because your stomach acidsĀ

I take vitamin C so I just take some liposomal vitamin C liposomal is very different than justĀ
like your vitamin C capsules um that you get like at your local drugstore this one here alsoĀ
has elderberry I like that because it’s immune boosting so I feel like with this vitamin C youĀ
get a little bit of the Beauty and the health um because of course vitamin C is great for Hair SkinĀ
and Nails that’s why a lot of our creams like our facial creams have vitamin C um this little guyĀ
here if I am getting sick I am taking this three times a day with some of my holistic stuff butĀ
I would say it’s great to take daily but if you are feeling like you’re starting to get a littleĀ
sick you’re feeling a little under the weather that’s where vitamin C will definitely come intoĀ
play and will like really shine through so do not underestimate the power of lipo SoMo vitamin C soĀ
these three things I take for sure in the morning before I even go downstairs um I keep them hereĀ
in my in my restroom I don’t know if you’re like me if they’re not in front of me then I’m goingĀ
to forget so have them out make sure I’m with everything whether it’s supplements whether it’sĀ
working out whether it’s your diet consistency is key okay so make sure you just stay consistentĀ
with all of your stuff so to start my day one of the best things to break your fast with is withĀ
bone broth so you can totally make it at home I don’t just because it is so timec consuming and itĀ
takes about 204 hours to make like a really great Rich bone broth I usually just buy I stock up IĀ
buy different flavors so it has 20 g of protein 20 g of protein and only 100 calories so it’s veryĀ
low calorie very high protein amazing for your for your gut lining so remember gut health right yourĀ
gut lining um it’s one of the best things to just start your day it also is full of collagen I loveĀ
to drink it if I’m you know just kind of wanting a quick lunch I’ll do this with like a little wrapĀ
W or something along those lines because it’s a really yummy soup so this here I feel like you’reĀ
kind of knocking out two birds with one stone you get your collagen it’s also amazing for yourĀ
gut health you’re getting in your protein and um it’s also low in calories so it’s like youĀ
don’t have to worry about like going overboard with something if you don’t want to do bone brothĀ
cuz you’re like I just want something super quick you know I like these pills I get them at CostcoĀ
they’re big not going to lie these little guys are pretty they’re kind of like horse pills look atĀ
that that is pretty big and you have to take six of them but I feel like you can you can definitelyĀ
do both this is just um in case you’re trying to get your collagen but you’re like I don’t want toĀ
do a scoop of powdered collagen in my smoothie I don’t want to do a scoop of collagen in my coffeeĀ
I literally just want something very simple then I would just do something like this anyway movingĀ
on so we have the collagen I don’t don’t drink a lot of water I’m going to be honest with youĀ
okay I try okay I do try and when I remember I try but it’s hard for me so if I have somethingĀ
that’s flavored and I enjoy it I’ll drink it this one from Ultima is really good this is the pinkĀ
lemonade they also have the lemonade that tastes so delicious this is something um it has theĀ
electrolytes it has minerals it just tastes so good so this is something that helps me drink myĀ
Waters and it gives me the minerals and then this guy here this one is not one that I take to justĀ
kind of sip around unless it’s the chili mango and once in a while if it’s really hot likeĀ
I’ll enjoy that but this is something that I would take like after a workout if I’m going toĀ
go hiking or if I haven’t had a lot of sodium throughout the day because this does have 1,000Ā
milligrams of sodium a lot of people are like oh my God like salt like no our body actually needsĀ
salt and sometimes I don’t get enough salt so if I don’t get enough salt then this is definitelyĀ
something that I’m turning to it is more on the salty side so this is something you want toĀ
drink if you’re going hiking after a workout like something where you need to replenish allĀ
of those and these both have electrolytes and minerals and then we have colostrum so this isĀ
another really really great thing colostrum is amazing super great for your gut so like if you’reĀ
on a gut health Journey this right here is also so good it’s so powerful colostrum is one of thoseĀ
things that we get right when we’re born mother produce it naturally after they give birth andĀ
it’s the first thing that goes into our immune system so I saw it online did my research and IĀ
was like OMG and so this stuff here I also take I try to be super super consistent with it IĀ
probably have it at least three four times a week this stuff here is like yeah it was physicianĀ
develop it’s just like really really great like if you one of those people that’s really just tryingĀ
to take your health to the next level colostrum is really good if you are one of those people thatĀ
hates organ meets then this little guy right here they’re not too bad I’m almost done with theseĀ
but you do have to take six but you’re not going to eat liver or heart or brain or whatever elseĀ
um because this is just really really good stuff an organ complex is amazing you just want to makeĀ
sure that’s a high quality organ um a high quality complex so and then to finish off my day magnesiumĀ
okay okay hang on cuz I left it on my vanity okay so I just took this last night and I forgot itĀ
over there again this one here look at how big these pills are I know but you only need to takeĀ
two pretty big pills but magnesium is absolutely amazing so magnesium is something you cannotĀ
take in the morning don’t take this stuff during the day you’re going to get relaxed and tired andĀ
it’s basically the last thing you want if you have like a busy day ahead of you for you to all ofĀ
a sudden be like cuz that’s that’s BAS basically what it does to me it helps me really like kindĀ
of wind down at night but magnesium has so many benefits like so just really quickly it supportsĀ
muscle relaxation muscle function your heart bone health your bone density you know what I meanĀ
like there’s just so many benefits to taking magnesium this one here is from JS health and thenĀ
if you don’t like taking pills this is the calm so it’s literally a powder and I just put it intoĀ
like some it just put into water and it kind of makes it taste a little sparkling kind of like anĀ
Alka-Seltzer I don’t know if you it’s kind of like a little bit of Fizz this one only has one it’sĀ
the magnesium carbonate but this one here makes me feel a little relaxed and also just helps aĀ
lot when I say a lot it helps a lot with being regular yeah so that’s pretty much um this is itĀ
