Here are the top five supplements for men. I’m here with my brother Austin the Marine. We’re both super into health. So, let’s dive right into it. Number one is magnesium. Today’s soil and water is very deficient in magnesium. And even someone like myself who eats a very healthy diet, when I track my minerals, I oftent times will fall about 200 to 400 milligrams short of magnesium. And we look at this 2011 paper on the effects of magnesium supplementation on testosterone showing some pretty good benefits. So, I take two of these every single day. The next one is creatine. Creatine monohydrate. Creatine is the most studied supplement in the world. You would have to eat almost 2 lbs of ground beef to get 5 g of creatine in these little capsules. You should be taking about 5 g per day. 10 g has also been studied to show great cognitive benefit. And this has been studied from everyone from a teenager to elderly that it benefits. The next one is zinc and copper. Now, so many people have heard about the study showing that zinc increases testosterone, which yes, it does. And their studies showing that zinc can benefit your skin health, your hair health. This led to many people taking 30 40 milligs of zinc daily and they weren’t getting their copper. Now these two minerals have a synergistic relationship. So you want to make sure you’re getting a formula that balances zinc and copper. 90% of Americans under consume protein. So having a protein supplement is key. You want to make sure you look for a high quality protein with minimal ingredients. Find a protein shake recipe that works for you. Have it any time of day. You can even just do milk and protein and shake it up. Now the last supplement we’re going to get into because we’re skipping some of the obvious ones. You want to have your vitamin D levels optimized and you want to have a good foundation nutritionally. Ashwagandha is really good because a lot of us are stressed. I commonly see ashwagandha used wrong. You probably don’t want to take it in the morning or before workout. You want to take it in the evening. It’s going to help you relax. There are studies showing a measurable decrease in cortisol which is our body’s main stress hormone. One of these has 600 milligs ashwagandha. I take it in the evening. If you’re taking most of these supplements, you’re pretty dialed in, especially if your nutrition is on point. Guys, life is hard as is. So, keep your health dialed in and use some stuff that can benefit you. When your machine functions properly, you feel better. And guys, let me know below if you take these or anything else that we missed. Love you all. They help.
