The ingredients for Nature’s Multi-Vitamin Mix are commonly found in Indian kitchens but are full of nature’s goodness and offer abundant benefits. This mix can be consumed every day to maintain good physical and mental health.
Ingredients:
For this recipe, you will need:
1/2 cup cumin seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup flaxseeds
1/4 cup fenugreek seeds
1/4 cup fennel seeds
1/4 cup coriander seeds
1 cup dried curry leaves powder
1/2 cup holy basil (tulsi) powder (optional)
Method:
Step 1. In a dry pan, lightly roast the cumin, sesame, flaxseeds, fenugreek, fennel, and coriander seeds on low heat for 5-7 minutes or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn them.
Step 2. Let the roasted seeds cool completely before grinding them into a fine powder in a spice grinder or blender.
Step 3. Add the dried curry leaves powder, holy basil (tulsi) powder, to the ground seed powder. Mix well.
Step 4. Store the powder in an airtight jar. To consume, mix 1-2 teaspoons of the powder in a glass of water and gulp it down!
Pro tip: You can add 1 tsp black salt to make it more tasty and mineral-rich. Alternatively, you can mix 1/2 glass of water, 1/2 lemon juice, and 1-2 teaspoons of the powder and drink it.
