Well guys, Costco does not disappoint. They have quite a bit here. This is interesting. This Korean retino collagen gouach and neck cream with the cooling roller applicator. So, this is interesting. It has retinaldahhide, which is a cosmetic form of topical vitamin A. With long-term use, can improve the appearance of little fine lines and the visible signs of sun damage, which tend to be very prominent on the neck. This also has nioinamide, the workhorse of the skin care industry, good for skin yellowing, uh, glycation related to sun damage as well as redness, hyperpigmentation. This has cumides which are good for the moisture barrier. It is scented, hexapeptide 2, hydrayed elastin. These are very hydrating ingredients and it has licorice root um, dip potassium glycerizate which is good for redness and dark spots. Aside from the fragrance, that actually looks promising. And you get two tubes. I wonder if this applicator, the rolling applicator, can be placed on the refill. I assume it can. $27.99. This looks promising. The tear tier ceramic milk ampule. It appears to be fragrance-free. Lactobacillus soy milk ferment filtrate. She’s got antioxidant compounds and is hydrating. Oatmeal extract. Really good for the moisture barrier. coconut oils and emollient. It has ceramides. It has collagen which helps with moisture retention. And of course, it has nyioinomide, the workhorse of the skin care industry. That looks like it’d be good for soothing the skin, imparting some hydration, prepping the skin for subsequent skin care products. I bet this is good. I’m currently using the Haruharu Wonder Barrier Essence, which is like a milky toner, and I’m also using the Silamax Milky Toner with um Aquatide in it. But you can get these two right now at Costco. Each bottle is 1.35 ounces. The two together is $34.99. That’s a pretty good deal. All right. And then the AHC Pro Shot Color Rejuvenation Lift for Serum and the eye cream. These were here last time. $89.99, you guys. So the serum has a variety of peptides along with licorice root. So, the peptides generally are pretty good for hydrating the skin and smoothing out the appearance of like little fine lines, uneven texture, prominent pores, may help with things like collagen integrity in theory, but kind of a reach. The serum does have fragrance. It also has dip potassium glycerizate, licorice root extract, which is good for redness, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid, great for the moisture barrier. Then the eye cream is interesting. It has collagen. And again, that’s moisturizing. It has buchial, which is an antioxidant that shows promise for improving the appearance of uh photoagging. It may help stabilize retinol. This does not have retinol in it, however. It has instead hydroxy pinacolone retinoate, which is not well studied. Um, so hard to say if it does much, but that’s in there. Seems very expensive though. $89.99 for these two things. I would say that is a pass. This is one of my all-time favorite gentle cleansers. In fact, I just filmed a skincare empties video and this is one I finished and I have one actively in my shower. I use it as a second step in my double cleanse. It’s a gentle gel cleanser. Great for dry, oily, sensitive, combination skin. Gentle, silky lather. Hydrating. And you get two 1.7 oz bottles for $23.99. Unfortunately, this is the one with fragrance. I have the fragrance-free one, which is what I recommend. Darn. I was so excited when I saw this only to realize it’s the scented one. I don’t care for the fragrance in these. It’s strong. Keep your eyes peeled, you guys, because the Dove fragrance-free beauty bar often goes on sale for Black Friday. It’s currently on sale here at Costco, the 16 pack. The nice thing about the Dove Beauty bar, I mean, if you like the scent, by all means, provided you’re not allergic to it, that’s what’s going to be in the original, but the um sensitive one is fragrance-free. This is gentle enough to adequately cleanse, but not disrupt skin’s outermost pH to a point where it causes the enzymes there to be haphazard in terms of their function and not help with barrier integrity the way they need to. Uh, it also leaves behind moisturizing ingredients. So, it cleanses and moisturizes at the same time. I’m currently using because I’m not allergic to fragrance and I absolutely love the scent. The pumpkin the cinnamon pumpkin pie uh scented body wash from Dove and I I love it. As a matter of fact, I’m championing it the bit cuz I’m almost finished with it to try a Christmas scent. Comment below and if you’ve tried any Christmas scents yet. But yeah, I highly recommend this. It’s great for you can also use it to wash your hands. You know, a lot of people don’t think of these beauty bars, bath bars for washing their hands, but these work really well. Um because with good hand hygiene, it’s not just about the contents of the soap. It’s more about the amount of time you spend lathering and ensuring that you get all surfaces. That is like one of the most important things. I believe Dove also makes hand soaps as well. I’m not sure if they have a fragrance-free one. Speaking of their body wash, they have the scented deep moisture here. Um, which is a really good value right now. Three pack, three bottles of each 23 oz. $12.99. This is something to keep your eyes peeled for, the advanced hydration plus water cream from Rock. I’m currently working with Rock to promote this over on my Instagram disclosure, but it’s really good. It’s fragrance-free hydrayed hematocckus pluvialis extract. Homaticus pluialis extract. Those ingredients are really hydrating. I mean, that’s kind of like the appeal of the La Mer moisturizers. Um, I’m currently using this. It’s really good. You get two 1.7 oz jars and it’s $29.99. So, 15 bucks a piece more or less, which is pretty good for a facial moisturizer of that caliber. Rock has really good retinols. as a side note. Okay, this is a really nice facial moisturizer from Toridin, the divein soothing cream. Has a variety of forms of hyaluronic acid which help with retention of water. Ultimately, that is the name of the game when it comes to better uh skin texture, barrier support. This is not technically fragrance-free. It has like a lavender extract in it, so there’s a little bit of an aroma to it. uh if you’re allergic to fragrance, that would not be great for you, but uh it’s not like super strong or headacheinducing or anything like that. The two 3.38 oz jars, plus you get the 2.67 oz travel tubes for $38.99. Ooh, we have L’Oreal Paris Panoramic Mascara. I need somebody to comment below on what the performance of that is like. I’m really liking this packaging, although from a distance it kind of looks like Pandora jewelry. Um, I’ I’d be interested to try that. You guys know I love to test out different mascaras, and I like this type of wand, and that just looks compelling. This is L’Oreal Paris’s Midnight Cream. All right, this gets hyped up a lot, but uh, what exactly is going on in it? Well, it’s a scented moisturizer. Black tea ferment. Fermentss are great in moisturizing products, serums, toners, and the like. They’re rich in hydrating compounds, anti-inflammatory um ingredients. Panthanol, which is really good for moisturizing the skin. Caprioloil, salicylic acid, which is LHA, um a modified form of salicylic acid, a little bit more precise and gentle in its exfoliation. $39.99, that’s not too bad. uh 20 bucks a jar. But um I don’t know. I haven’t actually tried this one. I don’t think I’ve tried the serum though of this and the fragrance was really strong. So I imagine the moisturizer is is also very strong. We have SK2 here, facial treatment essence, and it is $219.99. Now, I tried this a long time ago. I didn’t think too much of it. Fermentss are great uh in products, so there’s that. But these kind of ingredients have become really easy to to come by and there’s nothing particularly magic in my opinion about their uh ferment patera. That’s just what they’ve trademarked the name. This I love. This is one of my favorite value uh toners serums peptides along with niainamide natural moisturizing factors. I just reviewed for you guys the new shark gadget. I already forgot what it’s called. And I don’t recommend that thing as you’ll learn why in the video, but this was actually pretty helpful for using to glide that wacky device over the surface of the skin. It’s on sale right now. You get the two bottles for $27.99. That’s down from $34.99. This often goes on sale though for Black Friday. This cleansing oil is really popular from Skin 10004. two bottles of it. It’s $29.99, which is a pretty good value. I have to say though, I love this brand. The cleansing oil was not my favorite. It’s not bad, and it’s really a popular cleansing oil. I didn’t like it because the aroma was pretty noticeable, which I don’t like in a cleansing oil. And also, I felt like it was a little light and a little bit unwieldy, but it it works. Um, I if I had another one in my possession that was gifted to me or something, I would gladly use it with no complaints, but it’s not one I I actively seek out. But $29.99, I don’t think is a bad price here at Costco. Cleansing oils are excellent for removing uh breaking up cosmetic residues. I’m eye makeup in particular, mascara, and I get questions all the time about lash serums. And instead of focusing on lash serums, have you considered oil cleansing to remove your mascara? Because for me personally, that’s made the biggest difference in my lash health. Just by lubricating the lashes, cutting down on the friction needed to remove eye makeup, it’s allowed them to grow a little bit longer. So consider that because a lot of the lash serums, they’ll have costic glandon analoges which can have side effects and conditioning the lashes can be of benefit. Something to consider and this is one way to do it. Of course, you’re rinsing it off, but it really has helped. That’s just my anecdotal experience. Then we have the minoxidil foam here 5% which women can use 5%. It’s just marketing men versus women. Women um in contrast to men can sometimes get results from the 2% but often they don’t. 5% tends to be more effective for scalp hair. Uh but a lot of people ask me about using this for the brows. For the brows specifically, I do suggest the 2% less likely to have side effects of unwanted hair growth outside of the brows and irritation, but has been shown to work in clinical studies. Um, fun fact about this too, not only can it help get more hairs in the growing phase of the hair cycle, but it also can help with nail growth if you put it on your nails. But be careful if you touch your face. uh you’ll have unwanted facial hair and you have to be careful if you have small pets. If they lick your head or your hands after applying this or they sleep on your pillowcase and it’s the residue has gotten on there, it can be very harmful especially to cats and you have to keep using it. You know, it doesn’t cure androgenetic alopecia, but it helps get more hairs in the growing phase. As soon as you stop, those hairs will exit the growing phase, shed, and you’ll be back to square one. So, it’s just kind of getting things to a point where they will grow. It also can get some hairs that have miniaturized back into the hair cycle. This can be combined with low-level laser therapy at home though. Um, I use I restore Elite device. Um, and that is great. I don’t use minoxidil, but you can pair them. You can also use uh oral minoxidil. less likely that your animals will get in contact come in contact with it. Uh less arduous to keep up with because you’re just taking a pill versus putting something on your scalp, but uh potential for lower leg swelling and unwanted facial hair growth. $39.99, you guys, down from $49.99. That’s a great deal. This is another thing though that often goes on sale for Black Friday. We have the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes, which recently some bashes were recalled. they um were concerned about potential uh contaminant and they recalled some. But uh aside from that issue, these are really good. I don’t recommend using makeup wipes to like actually wash your face, but I personally find them to be useful for uh makeup mistake correction. However, however, um I recently got some and didn’t realize I got the scented ones. Oh my gosh, the fragrance ruins the whole appeal of these makeup remover wipes because why do I want a strongly scented wipe up by my eye? I don’t. So, are these these look like to be the scented ones? I haven’t tried the Hydroboost ones. I have a sample of them, though. So, at some point, I’ll report back on the performance of those. Olay Pro Advanced Regenerous Complex. This has been around for a while. It does have fragrance in it and nyioinomide which is the name of the game with no Olay moisturizers. Um they’ve been doing nyioinomide in skincare products probably the longest of any mainstream brand. $36.99 for those two. Also has peptides in it which are good for moisture retention, smoothing out the appearance of fine lines especially around the eyes if I didn’t already say. So $36.99 for the two jars for Olay. That’s really really good. delay as we know would tend to be a little overpriced. Look at this. Now, this is something to definitely add to cart here because this is a really good retinaldahhide. Um, you can use it around your eyes, you can use it to the rest of your face. That’s a really generous tube, 1.69 oz. This will last you forever. Um, this is a really good formula and it’s $32.99. Not too bad. In addition to retinaldahhide, which is good for improving the visible signs of skin aging, fine lines, wrinkles, um, and improving collagen production, although they can’t claim that because that’s a drug claim, not a cosmetic claim. Uh, it also has nyioinamide, the workhorse of the skincare industry, good for uneven skin tone, redness, the moisture barrier, and skin yellowing, plus camides, which are good for the moisture barrier. I reviewed this a few years ago and I still 10 out of 10 recommend it. Uh $ 32.99 I don’t think is too bad for that much retinaldahhide. This was viral on Tik Tok which doesn’t really mean a whole lot to me but uh you may have heard of it there. It’s a Korean brand facial moisturizer with lavender extract so a bit of an aroma potentially. Also has nioinomide ceramides and hyaluronic acid. I mean that is a basic underpinning of most products these days. Uh sentella asiatica leaf extract is also really good anti-inflammatory compounds thought to be supportive in healing potentially good for uh the long-term trajectory of scar formation. Rveratrol is an antioxidant may help in defending against environmental aggressors to a certain extent provided all these little check boxes have been checked which we’ll never know cuz hey it’s a cosmetic. So, there’s that. Um, but that is $29.99. So, 15 bucks a tube. I don’t know. It doesn’t seem too bad at all. This is a great body and face moisturizer. Real thick, real lux. Also, they’ve got Caravee. So, no nyioinomide in this. As a side note, if you’re somebody who’s sensitive to nyioinomide, the cream from Cedaphil is still a good bet. It’s really just a basic rich moisturizer. Great for face and body. $19.99. So that’s 55 cents per ounce. Then Caravee cream 25.99. So uh quite a bit more 81 cents roughly per ounce. Camides. Now the cream does not have uh niainamide like the lotion the the facial lotion but uh this particular set here one of the jars at least has a pump packaging which can be convenient. also have the um lotions are cheaper. Lotions a little bit more lightweight but still very effective. Face and body moisturizer $24.99. So that’s 78 cents per unit. This is new here at Costco. Honey K. Honey K or Honey Q. Manuka honey is or honey in general. It’s rich in humctants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Good for moisturizing and um cleansing. also has royal jelly which is uh full of hctants. Um but you know if you’re allergic to fragrance a lot of honey stuff can cross react especially like royal jelly propulolis. So you got to got to watch that. But uh here it is the Aino skin relief body wash. The threepack is a DO $15.99. So that is uh 29 roughly 30 cents per ounce. This is a really good formula. The colloidal oats are both hydrating and have gentle cleansing properties. This AIB brand continues to impress me time and time again. So, these collagen eye patches are good for hydrating the under eye area. I’ve used these before. They’re pretty good. You can also use them to other areas. See how she’s wearing them here? Anytime I wear them like that, eye patches, people always tell me I have them on or wrong. But I think they are better that way because you get the bulk of them in the uh under eye holo. Anyway, uh these are fragrance-free. They have caffeine which can temporarily depuff and brighten up the under eye area for some people. Licorice root again is also good for brightening up the skin. They’re just really moisturizing and they also have nioinamide. And you get the two jars. So 120, that’s 60 pairs. $25.99. Not too bad. These are really good if you put them in the refrigerator and put them on chill. It’ll really help the deeppuffing action for sure. Let me know in the comments if you’ve been in Costco lately.
