Just a minute: Vitamin E 🥥🌰🥜
• What? Vitamin E
• Why? Skin, Brain, 🡳Cancer, Immune, Cardiovascular, and Anti-oxidant
• Which? Tocotrienols! (Tocopherols🡳)
• How Much? ≥ 22.4 IU/day
• Where? Seeds, Nuts, Coconut
😆Forgot to say that vitamin E is critical for a healthy brain! ðŸ§
FYI- vitamin E is fat-soluble and may be harmful when overdosed. Do not exceed 400 IU daily without medical supervision.
While commonly used oils of soybean, corn, cottonseed and sesame may be listed as sources for vitamin E, this is usually in the tocopherol form which in excess may be harmful to your health. Limit use of these highly processed, often genetically modified oils.
Like the other fat-soluble vitamins (A-D-K), vitamin E is better absorbed when taken with food.
