The number one best vitamin for arthritis is a toss-up between three different vitamins. I’m going to cover all of them, but I want to emphasize the one that I think is the most important one. We’re talking about the combination of vitamin D, vitamin K2, and also magnesium, which is actually a mineral. In past videos, I talked about vitamin D being the most important and even magnesium. Vitamin K2 in relationship to arthritis is super super important because vitamin K2 keeps the calcium deposits out of the soft tissues. When we’re dealing with arthritis, we’re usually dealing with osteopittes, which are calcium deposits, or as we get older, just calcification. Vitamin K2 is the key nutrient to keep that calcium out of the joints, out of the arteries, and in the bone, and in your teeth. Vitamin K2 also protects the cartilage. Vitamin D is involved in lowering your inflammation. When we’re talking about arthritis, the itis part of that is inflammation. Vitamin D and K2 does not work without magnesium. Magnesium is super important, especially since magnesium has everything to do with what’s connected to that joint, like muscles, ligaments, and tendons, which desperately need magnesium for their ability to be relaxed. Calcium controls the contraction. Magnesium controls the relaxation of the muscle. I would say that vitamin K2 is the most important, but especially important if taken with vitamin D3 and magnesium.
