WBCs look incredible under the microscope!

This is one of my most favorite things to film and I finally had the chance to film this on a really nice microscope in 4K!

Timelapse footage really captures their movement and pattern!

I hope you enjoy the footage!

All up, this resulted in hours of filming – a total of 70GB all condensed into 1 minute!

P.S. Sorry for the re-upload – whilst I appreciated the awesome and supportive commentary, it was clear that my overall message might have left some confused! My apologies!

Big love –

Walt

the most incredible thing to watch through a microscope is the movement of white blood cells this is a single drop of my blood this sample contains about 5 million red blood cells and for about every 600 of these cells there is one white blood cell have a look at this the cells that I’ve circled here are my white blood cells and they are actively looking for Dangerous bacteria viruses and toxic particles they constantly look after you but the craziest thing is that without my white blood cells I would only live for a couple of days before I succumb to some infection the footage here is absolutely amazing even when outside your body the white blood cell will continue to fight for you it’s crazy to think that our lives depend on these but it is also a good reminder that you are beautifully complex so remember to be kind to yourself
