For her 2026 prediction, she thinks new innovations in mascara will be the breakthrough products everyone is talking about.

I’ve never thought about using a spray-on serum, but after talking to Nathalie Eleni, I’m sold.

“You get the hydration and slip of a mist, but with the extra nourishment of a serum and it honestly brings your makeup to life,” she says. “I love using it over moisturiser as extra moisture to create beautiful, bouncy skin when you apply your foundation. You can also layer your foundation with it. Apply a light layer of foundation, Spritz the spray-on serum, Then buff a second, sheerer layer on top. It creates the most seamless, skin-like finish with zero dry patches. And of course, keep it in your bag for the day a few spritzes and your skin looks fresh, radiant, and revived.”

She also suggests spraying it directly on a clean makeup brush and buffing into your skin to revive makeup that’s looking a little lacklustre.

For 2026, she sees a return of matte neutrals. “I think we’ll see a lot of neutrals, but applied a little bit heavier, so kind of grown-up ‘corporate’ neutral smoky eye balanced with sheer luminous skin. Think earthy flat brows, taupes, cashmeres, rusty browns and rich chocolates,” she says.

“I also think people are going to have more fun with their evening make up looks and not stick to classic looks. I see coloured eyeliners, face gems and jewels largely inspired by AI images.
