When I think about 2025, I will never forget 6-7, aura farming, the alleged 24-ct gold Labubu, and because I am a beauty editor, the launches across body, hair, skin and makeup that pushed the industry forward.

To recap: at the start of the year, L’Oréal Paris launched evolution of it’s popular Elnett styling franchise, and the next month Beyoncé’s haircare brand Cécred dropped targeted hair tools.

In March customizable brand Function of Beauty elevated body wash with a personalized version, in April Jennifer Aniston released the secret to her hair’s envious volume, and in May legendary makeup artist Bobbi Brown changed the tinted foundation game.

Summer was marked by Katseye’s first beauty collab, Hydrafacial’s latest in-office innovation and a slew of water-activated products. Meanwhile in fall, Tracee Ellis Ross expanded Pattern with bodycare, Victoria’s Secret (finally!) launched a permanent home fragrance collection and Shark launched it’s second at-home skin device to major praise.

Now it’s December, and frankly, the hits just keep coming. Olay has reformulated some of its iconic products, Maybelline New York’s latest makeup is already a red carpet mainstay and an LED mask just hit shelves that comfortably covers your scalp, face and neck while you multitask.

Check out all the best launches of the month, ahead.

When it comes to skincare, we can’t name a more dynamic duo than Olay’s iconic Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream and Regenerist Retinol24. Pantene Abundant & Strong Shampoo

Pantene Abundant & Strong Shampoo.

Pantene

Pantene is tackling hair loss head on with its Abundant & Strong collection. The three-step system addresses scalp oxidative stress, which can ultimately weaken the scalp’s ability to onto hair at the roots, causing increased shedding. Specifically, its shampoo (shown) and serum combine a power trio — nutrient pro-vitamin B5 as well as antioxidants Niacinamide and Piroctone Olamine — to reduce the issue.
