NEW YORK, NY – Modern Warrior has issued a nationwide voluntary recall of its dietary supplement Modern Warrior Ready after federal testing revealed the presence of undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients, including tianeptine, 1,4-DMAA, and aniracetam, all of which pose serious health risks.

The recall affects all lots of the product, which was sold online directly to consumers between April 2022 and December 8, 2025. The supplement was marketed for mental clarity and cognitive support under the company’s “Body Repair Plan” product line.

Regulators warned that tianeptine, an unapproved drug sometimes referred to as “gas station heroin,” can cause life-threatening neurological and psychiatric reactions, including suicidal thoughts or behavior, particularly in people aged 25 and under. Overdose may result in confusion, seizures, drowsiness, respiratory distress, and cardiac complications, which can be worsened by alcohol use or interactions with MAOI antidepressants.

The stimulant 1,4-DMAA was also detected and is known to raise blood pressure and increase the risk of heart attack, shortness of breath, or chest tightening. Health authorities noted that when combined with caffeine or other stimulants such as synephrine, these effects may intensify.

The recalled supplement comes in a black plastic bottle with a gold-accented label, featuring the Modern Warrior (MW) logo, gold lettering that reads “Body Repair Plan,” and the word “READY” followed by a small sunrise icon. Each bottle contains 60 capsules.

Modern Warrior said it has stopped production, suspended all sales, and quarantined remaining inventory to prevent further distribution.

Consumers who purchased Modern Warrior Ready are urged to stop using the product immediately and contact a healthcare provider if they have experienced any adverse reactions.
