Anua has teased a collaboration with KPop Demon Hunters, the hit Netflix film that won two Golden Globe Awards this week for best animated feature and best original song.

The animated tween film – which is the streaming service’s most popular film with more than 500 million views – centres around a K-pop group who have secret powers and protect the world from demons.

The K-beauty brand said that a “story-driven campaign” will be launching in February, “bringing emotional awakening, character-inspired concepts and immersive beauty experiences to fans around the world”.

The “multi-chapter, year-long” creative programme will also include a collection of products.

Anua is known for its serums, such as the PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum, as well as hero products centered around heartleaf extract, such as the Soothing Toner and Pore Control Cleansing Oil.

“KPop Demon Hunters has ignited a cultural wave that continues to rise across the globe,” said Anua CEO Seon Hyeong Yi.

“At Anua, we believe beauty is most meaningful when it connects to inner balance and emotional awakening.

“This collaboration allows us to merge those values with a universe that resonates deeply with fans everywhere.

“We cannot wait to share what we have been building.”

Ahead of February’s reveal, Anua teased that the collaboration will include “story-driven skin care moments, hero character spotlights and collectible-inspired fan engagement”.
