WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Wilmington, North Carolina, Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, is hosting its Black Family Wellness Expo this spring.

According to the organization, the event will focus on raising awareness of health conditions that affect the quality of life for families in local communities.

It will feature various activities as well as information and resources on the following topics:

Children’s wellnessFitness and movementPreventive health and screeningsMental healthEmotional wellness

The event is set to be held on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Derick G.S. Davis Community Center.
