The Wilmington North Carolina Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will host the Black Family Wellness Expo on Saturday, March 21, at the Derick G.S. Davis Community Center, 1101 Manly Ave in Wilmington.

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington North Carolina Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will host the Black Family Wellness Expo on Saturday, March 21, at the Derick G.S. Davis Community Center.

The free, community-wide event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1101 Manly Ave in Wilmington.

The expo is part of a national Links initiative focused on health equity and raising awareness for conditions that disproportionately affect Black families. The event aims to provide resources for all age groups, ranging from infant care and children’s wellness to senior health and caregiver support.

Attendees will have access to professional health screenings, expert medical advice, and information regarding mental health and preventive care. Beyond clinical resources, the program includes interactive fitness activities such as line dancing as well as sessions on healthy stress management and civic literacy.
