OAK HILL, W.Va. (WVVA) – New River Gorge 5 Needle Protocol (5NP), located on Main Street in Oak Hill, has temporarily closed following an official notice from the City of Oak Hill and Oak Hill Police Department recommending evacuation due to structural concerns.
The neighboring building has experienced structural damage to its back corner, and the city has recommended that 5NP close until a structural engineer can inspect and confirm the safety of the facility.
This is absolutely not something I ever imagined facing.
I’ve put so much love, sweat, and sacrifice into building this space and serving this community. Right now, there are a lot of unknowns, but we are committed to reopening as soon as it is safe to do so.
The closure is temporary, and the business is awaiting structural inspection results to determine when operations can resume. Mahony and her team will provide updates to the community as more information becomes available.
