BELLMEAD, Texas (KWTX) – Bellmead police detectives arrested a man accused of breaking into gym lockers and stealing wallets, keys and, ultimately, vehicles belonging to gym members, arrest warrant affidavits state.
Xavier “Demon” Davis, 19, is facing a laundry list of charges in criminal cases in McLennan, Dallas, Rowlett, Collin and Tarrant counties.
The charges against Davis include:

Police said Davis is suspected in at least two burglary and theft of property incidents in the Bellmead, Texas, area.
On May 29, a vehicle was stolen and several gym lockers were broken into at the Bellmead Planet Fitness located at 1000 N. Loop 340.
Police said multiple wallets were stolen, in addition to keys used to steal a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup valued at $60,000. Several credit and debit cards, in addition to at least $2,000 in cash, were taken during the gym caper.
An investigation revealed Davis and another suspect entered the gym’s locker room, cut off the locks, and stole the wallets stored in the lockers, the affidavit states.
Within a half hour, the victims’ credit and debit cards were used to make at least five purchases at the Target in Waco, police said. The stolen pickup was recovered the next day.
Davis and three other suspects entered the same Planet Fitness in Bellmead on Aug. 1 and once again broke into several lockers, the affidavits state.
The suspects again stole wallets and keys used to steal a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado pickup, police said.
The Colorado was reported stolen immediately and deputies with the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office spotted the stolen vehicle, pulled it over and took the driver into custody.
The name of the suspect driving the stolen truck, and the other defendants is not included in the arrest warrants.
Davis was arrested on Jan. 17 and booked into the McLennan County on bonds totaling $165,000. The arrest warrants do not specify how authorities identified Davis as the suspect in the Bellmead cases.
