Ánima Kitchent has announced that its preschool entertainment brand “Cleo & Cuquín” has joined a nationwide Mexican social-awareness effort led by El Consejo de la Comunicación. The campaign, titled “Actívate con Pasión” (“Get Active with Passion”), seeks to motivate children and families across the country to incorporate more physical activity into their daily routines.
El Consejo de la Comunicación, a private-sector, non-profit organization founded to support national social causes through large-scale communication initiatives, selected “Cleo & Cuquín” to join a roster of well-known characters including those from “Sesame Street.” The goal is to inspire audiences through playful, creative, and relatable storytelling. By tapping into the growing national excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026, the campaign leverages sports-driven enthusiasm to encourage healthier behaviors in households nationwide.
Running through 12 April 2026, “Actívate con Pasión” urges families to commit to at least 30 minutes of physical activity five days a week, underscoring the positive impact regular movement can have on both physical and emotional well-being. For the youngest audiences in particular, the campaign links exercise to joy, connection, and shared family moments. Ánima Kitchent emphasized that “Cleo & Cuquín” characters serve not only as entertainers but as accessible messengers capable of reinforcing meaningful wellness habits.
By participating in the initiative, Ánima Kitchent reaffirms its dedication to supporting Mexican families through engaging content that promotes active, healthy lifestyles and positive social values. The company continues to expand the presence and influence of “Cleo & Cuquín,” which maintains strong reach in Mexico across Televisa’s Canal 5, Discovery Kids, Netflix, Cartoonito, Pluto TV, Roku, and Fire TV, as well as on YouTube—where Mexico consistently ranks among the brand’s top three global markets, driving millions of views annually.
Inspired by the classic 1960s Spanish property “The Telerin Family,” “Cleo & Cuquín” launched in 2018 with a 78-episode series and quickly became the number-one preschool show at its television premiere in Mexico, Spain, and several Latin American markets. Building on this momentum, Ánima Kitchent has expanded the franchise with new digital and VOD productions, including a Cuquín-led adventure-comedy spin-off featuring new characters such as Clementina, Cyan, Robi the robot, Trex the dinosaur and Ghost the rabbit, further strengthening the brand’s global appeal.
Through its involvement in “Actívate con Pasión,” Ánima Kitchent underscores the growing role of children’s entertainment brands in shaping healthier habits and supporting large-scale social initiatives in partnership with national institutions.
