The Recreation Department’s Winter Wellness Series continues through February as a way to encourage patrons to kick off the New Year right. These classes, events, seminars and challenges are geared toward helping North Liberty jump start the new year in a healthy way.
Registration is open on RecDesk (search “Wellness Series” for all programs) and the majority of offerings are free. All take place at the Community Center, 520 W. Cherry St.
In addition to these classes, our team is offering month swim and step challenges (see the bulletin bord on pool deck for challenge details) and Wellness Bingo from Jan. 2 to Feb. 2, 2026. Simply pick up a bingo card at front desk and turn in your completed card at the end of the challenge to be entered for prizes .

Want to workout in the pool but not actually swim laps? Rehabbing an injury? The aquatic staff will show you how to use some pool equipment. No registration.
Chair Yoga
Feb. 7 at 8:15 a.m.
Have limited mobility or do you sit at a desk all day? Join us for chair yoga to learn gentle moves and stretches to help aches and pains. Register at the front desk or online, no fee, drop-ins welcome if space allows

Fluid Running Classes
Wednesdays in February, 7 p.m. $60
Fluid running is a full body workout for everyone at any age and ability. Fluid running takes place in the deep end of the pool and requires wearing a floatation belt. It is great for strength building, injury reduction, zero to low impact, and improved cardiovascular health.
