— The Senior Nutrition Program offers a nutritionally balanced meal for all people and is open for in-person dining at locations in both Pine River and Crosslake.
In Pine River, meals are served at 11 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Heartland Apartments, 445 Snell Ave., in Pine River.
In Crosslake, meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Crosslake Community Center.
The suggested voluntary donation is $7 per meal for those over 60 and $10.50 for those under 60.
To make a reservation to eat in the dining hall, to pick up a meal or to have a meal delivered, call 218-420-2828 in Pine River or 218-409-7960 in Crosslake. Call a day ahead. Leave a message.
Menus are subject to change. Meals are served with low-fat milk.
Monday: Baked pork chop, pork gravy, scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetables, wheat bread and margarine, oatmeal raisin cookie.Tuesday: Chicken cordon bleu, sliced carrots, rice pilaf, applesauce, wheat dinner roll and margarine.Wednesday: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, green beans, dinner roll and margarine, vanilla wafers.
Thursday: Tater tot hotdish, whole kernel corn, wheat bread and margarine, apple crisp.Friday: Cheese ravioli, marinara sauce, country vegetable blend, dinner roll and margarine, fruit crumble.
