Presented by Shalom Alliance of Central Ohio, Congregation Ahavas Sholom, Beth Jacob Congregation and Congregation Torat Emet, Rabbi Alexander Seinfeld will speak at several events on Feb. 8 as part of the “Health, Fitness & Torah” series.

From 8:15 to 9:45 a.m., “Ancient Wisdom on Modern Toxins” will be held at Ahavas Sholom at 2566 E. Broad St. in Bexley. The event is free, but RSVPs are appreciated.

From 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., “A Talmudic Solution to the Global Health Crisis” will be held at Beth Jacob at 1223 College Ave. in Columbus. The ticketed event will include a brunch for $18 or $36 for family tickets of 2 adults and children over age 13. Free babysitting will also be available.

From 5 to 6 p.m., “Being Healthy is Common Sense, But is it a Mitzvah?” will be held at Torat Emet at 2375 E. Main St. in Bexley. The event is free, but RSVPs are appreciated.

From 6 to 10 p.m., “Kick Off Your Healthy Torah Living” will be held at a private residence. The event is free, and includes a Super Bowl watch party. RSVPs are appreciated.

From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., a women’s only shiur, “How to Help Children Develop Healthy Habits,” will be held at a private residence. The event is free, but RSVPs are appreciated.
