There’s one Grammys 2026 trend you might not have noticed at first glance: freckles. But upon a closer look, you’ll notice that even with all the glitz and glam of the red carpet, all the stunning freckles and beauty marks still shine through.
Makeup styles that showcase freckles aren’t something entirely new, but like all trends, they have cycled in and out of mainstream wear. Over the past few years, glass skin and cloud skin became focueses. Now that self-expression is taking the forefront of beauty again, embracing your features or experimenting with faux freckles fits right in with the current trends.
It’s surely on trend at the Grammys. A number of celebrities opted for barely-there foundation finishes that showed off their freckles. Billie Eilish went for a completely minimalistic look, opting for just a short, thin winged eyeliner, blurred lips, and her freckles out, highlighted by a touch of warm blush. Sabrina Carpenter went with a similar style, going with just white highlighter in the inner corners of her eyes, a dark pink lip, and a matching blush that stopped just where her freckles begin.
