It feels like it has been ages since we last checked in here—the holidays came and went, we entered a brand new year, the world has continued to seemingly fall apart a little more everyday, and we’ve been busier than ever at Coveteur HQ. We’ve been experiencing a devastatingly cold, bone-chilling winter here in New York City with heaps of snow that doesn’t seem to be melting anytime soon. We’ve been having fun admiring all the looks coming out of awards season and fashion month (naked dresses galore!), and we’re mentally, physically, and spiritually preparing ourselves for New York Fashion Week. Between the hustle and bustle of editor life, we’ve been shopping—what else is new?
Ahead, the boots getting us through the snow, the coats getting us through the cold, the beauty products getting our skin through the end of winter, and so much more that has made this season (somewhat) bearable.
Entire Studios
“I just got this Entire Studios coat and it’s the perfect thing for this weather. It reaches the ground on me so it truly feels like I’m swaddled in a wool duvet. The shape is so chic like a robe too.” – Ella O’Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Miista
“The snow in NYC has been nothing short of hell literally frozen over for the past two weeks, and you’re not catching me in a snow boot any time soon. These Miista ankle boots are both practical and classic.” – Ella O’Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Damson Madder
“Winter has been wintering in New York! As temperatures continue to drop, I’ve been reaching for my Voula wool and cashmere blend cardigan on repeat. It has that perfect balance of warmth and style. I love DM for this reason, because they make well-made pieces that just feel good to wear, every single day.” – Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Cubitts
“Lately, I’ve been hyper-fixated on sunglasses—specifically finding frames that actually work for my face. I stumbled into Cubitts, the London-based brand, while walking through SoHo and instantly fell in love with the range of options. The styles are sleek, timeless, and somehow go with everything. Even better: if you’re in NYC, you can customize your own pair at their SoHo store, from frame size to nose bridge, so they truly feel made for you.” – Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Apparis Elis Leopard Coat
Apparis
“Leopard is a neutral, and I knew this coat would be a forever staple in my closet the moment I saw it. The little details make me happy—like the faux suede lining inside—and the darker leopard print is such a fun addition. Can’t wait to make this my new personality.” – Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

“Ok, hear me out. I have a lot of travel coming up, and it got me thinking—my luggage is so boring?? I’m not the type to wear a full ensemble at 6 AM for the airport, so I let my luggage do the talking. 360 degree wheels are a must for a good carry-on, and I hope this makes you take a good, long look at your luggage too.” – Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

Vagabond
“I’m the type of girl that loves seasonally inappropriate footwear—ballet flats in the winter and boots in the summer, for example. I bought these primarily to be worn with dresses and skirts which, even with the thickest of tights, isn’t feasible in New York City this winter. I love their slim silhouette and the slight homage to the iconic Prada sport boot style. I’ve worn them a few times, but I’m dreaming of warmer weather so I can style these to their fullest potential.” – Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Nemain Marcus
“I received this as a birthday gift from my mom a month ago and it has remained on my finger ever since. I’m the type of person who loves jewelry that doesn’t ever need to come off because it matches literally everything. I love that it’s relatively dainty and lowkey, but still has Gucci’s signature interlocking Gs.” – Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Nordstrom
“I have been on the hunt for a new foundation as my skin adjusts to the freezing temps, and have found my new go-to. Hermès Plein Air is a light, luminous-matte formula that leans more luminous, leaving a slightly velvety finish behind and smoothing uneven texture. My skin looks softly radiant after, and I love that it’s made with skincare ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid for a moisturizing boost.” – Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Amazon
“I have a whole drawer of hair supplements that remain untouched, but I’ve finally found one that I’m able to take consistently. OMI’s reformulated Hair Peptide gummies taste like a gummy candy, and are clinically proven to strengthen hair and support longer hair growth. I have yet to find a hair gummy with such strong clinicals that taste as good, and they’ve become a part of my daily routine.” – Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Santa Maria Novella
“I think winter is the perfect time to make your apartment smell like a church, and my worst-kept secret is these Santa Maria Nouvella paper incense tabs. A tip the sales associate gave me years ago when I first purchased these in Florence was to fold them up in a zigzag pattern so they burn more consistently.” – Ella O’Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Ulta
“This is the month where my skin is unbelievably dry. I am certain many of you are in the same boat. I love this simple, rich body moisturizer that feels like it truly lasts, especially if you apply on wet skin.” – Ella O’Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Sephora
“With these chilly days, my skin has definitely been feeling drier than usual. So I’ve been reaching for this Summer Fridays’ cream, which delivers serious hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. It’s exactly the quench my skin needs in these sub-zero temps!” – Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Rocky’s Matcha
“One of my New Year intentions was to drink less coffee and more matcha, mostly because I wanted something that could support my skin health. I was looking for anti-inflammatory benefits, antioxidants for healthy aging, and that overall glow-from-within energy. I’ve been loving Rocky’s Matcha because they provide ceremonial-grade tea without the bitterness.” – Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Armani Beauty
“As if Armani Beauty’s foundation could get any better? They just launched their new Luminous Silk Foundation, and the name lives up to the hype. It’s beyond lightweight, and if you have dry skin like me, it gives hydration and glow without making you feel as cakey as some foundations do.’ – Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

Ranavat
“I’ve been incorporating this product into my morning lineup for about three months now, and every time I wear it, someone says my skin is glowing—so consider this your sign. I feel like my skin’s texture has improved, and whether it actually has or not, it feels nourishing on my skin.” – Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

Verli
“If the description for a skincare product includes the words ‘milky,’ ‘hydration,’ and/or ‘plump,’ consider me down to try it. Bonus points for cute, elevated packaging. This Verli serum is lightweight but packs a punch with hyaluronic acid, snow mushroom, moringa leaf, and more. I might have just discovered a new hero product!” – Bianca Asare, Associate Editor
