In a landscape where companies must anticipate the sustainability requirements of the EU’s PPWR [1], Cosmogen is committed to maintaining both performance and differentiation by putting the consumer experience at the heart of its innovations. Powder Pack: A patented packaging for rehydratable powders

Powder-based cosmetics are playing an increasingly important role in the beauty world, driven by consumers’ growing preference for minimalist, eco-conscious, and practical routines. Yet despite this popularity, convenience isn’t always guaranteed: many products struggle with clogging or imprecise dispensing, turning packaging into a barrier to the skincare experience. To overcome this, Cosmogen conducted an in-depth analysis of usage patterns and application techniques, ultimately designing a standard packaging that preserves the formula over time while ensuring simple, precise, and enjoyable application.

Thanks to a push-button dispensing system, Powder Pack delivers the perfect amount of formula directly into the palm of the consumer’s hand. Cosmogen’s first packaging designed specifically for powder formulas, Powder Pack, is both refillable and made from recyclable materials. It fully aligns with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives while maintaining an exceptional consumer experience. Currently available in a 60 ml size with a paper refill system, Powder Pack can also be adapted to larger formats, making it ideal for products such as shower gels or shampoos.

To promote greater circularity, Cosmogen is looking to replace the current steel spring with a plastic solution, aiming to offer a single-material pack.

Precise application

Whether in makeup or skincare, precision is at the heart of all the innovations Cosmogen is presenting this year. For makeup, the Tense Cushion applicator combines a nozzle for precise product dispensing with a retractable, washable sponge for seamless blending. This design solves the common issue of traditional sponges that absorb too much product and reduce application control.

Furthermore, in a market where lip products are experiencing strong growth, Cosmogen has also developed the Glossy Lip Tube range, a tube equipped with a transparent PET angled applicator designed to conform to the shape of the lips. The applicator’s transparency allows the shade of the formula to be seen during application.

On the skincare front, innovations such as Drop to Drop and the new Needle Tube range with PET tips expand Cosmogen’s lineup of precision applicators. Drop to Drop features a transparent, drop-shaped PET tip for accurate, controlled application. The new generation of Needle Tube offers a very fine, transparent PET tip in 19 mm and 25 mm diameters, with the 25 mm size particularly suited for hair care, allowing precise application directly at the roots.

A complete single-material range, featuring the Eco Squeeze’n Roll

Cosmogen is further expanding its Eco-Line, showcasing its ability to meet strict technical and environmental standards. The range now includes several ready-to-use products made entirely from recyclable single materials — mainly polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) — to simplify sorting and recycling. It features the Eco Jar, Eco Tube, Eco Lip Tube, Eco Tense, Eco Drop to Drop, and Eco Squeeze’n Roll. The latter is a true technical achievement: with both roller and mechanism crafted entirely from PE, it fully preserves its massage function while embodying a sustainable design approach.
