It really doesn’t seem that long ago that Survivor hit the air in May of 2000. We were so into that game when it first started, weren’t we? I remember hosting Survivor parties at my little apartment back in Dover back in the day.
Survivor is now in it’s 50th Season and it is celebrating in a really cool way.
This past December, 2025, the show announced that 50 immunity idols would be hidden all across the U.S., one in each state. The contest started on January 31, 2026 and it would run through February 25, 2026. If you find one of the idols, you will win a trip to L.A. to see Survivor’s Live Finale. Pretty Cool.
If you go to survivor50challenge.com, you will see a map of the U.S. Click on whatever state you are looking for in the Map section and you will find out whether or not the clue was already given and you’ve lost your chance for that state or if the clue is going to be announced in the future.
New Hampshire’s clue was already given and the time for the 603 has passed. According to NH native Aubry Bracco, the idol was somewhere in the Ice Castles. Aubry is competing once again in Season 50.
As of the time of this writing, there are 10 out of the 50 idols that have been found. Also, at this time, Maine’s clue has been given and it is happening in a short window from 11a to 4pm on February 4, the day of this article.
From the Maine Clue, I was able to figure out where the Idol is. Here’s the clue from the website:
From Clyde’s quiet harbor,
leave mainland behind,
To cliffs loved by artists
and battered by brine.
First named by Samoset
before English claim,
One roadless village,
though none
bears its name.
If you know the area, which I do, if you want to leave the Mainland from Port Clyde Harbor via Ferry, it would take you to Monhegan Island; A place loved by artists and battered by brine. So, the Idol is somewhere on Monhegan Island. Let’s hope someone finds it!

If you missed today’s clue for Maine, Massachusetts is coming up on February 6th. Rhode Island is being released on 2/7 and Connecticut is being released on 2/20/26.
It’s a really clever way to call attention to a show that has been part of our culture for more than a quarter century.
Good luck for all who try to find the Idol!
