UK – Mars Incorporated has appointed Chris Sackree as Global Vice President of Supply for its Mars Food & Nutrition division, welcoming him to the segment’s Global Leadership Team effective April 3, 2026.

Sackree succeeds retiring executive Dale Creaser after nearly three decades with the company, stepping up from his role as Global Value Chain Operations VP, where he built resilient supply chains across 30 markets.

Reporting to Global President Shaid Shah, Sackree will oversee supply operations for powerhouse brands such as Ben’s Original, Tasty Bite, Kevin’s Natural Foods, and Dolmio, emphasizing quality, safety, and high-performing teams.

This strategic move enhances Mars Food & Nutrition’s operational excellence amid booming demand for convenient, nutritious meals in a US$1.2 trillion global category.

Sackree’s career spans Mars Pet Nutrition factories in the UK and North America, delivering consistent performance in complex markets and categories.

Chris joined Mars Food & Nutrition in 2022 as VP, Global Value Chain Operations, where he played a key role in building a strong, resilient global supply chain and a high-performing Supply function.

Shaid Shah, Global President Mars Food & Nutrition, praised his track record: “Chris joined Mars 18 years ago and has consistently delivered excellent operational performance across markets and categories, … underpinned by a deep commitment to driving quality and safety. He is a strong leader with a reputation for building high-performing teams.”

The appointment signals Mars’ investment in supply chain resilience as it scales ready-to-heat products and sustainable sourcing initiatives.

Mars Food & Nutrition, part of the privately held Mars empire with US$45 billion in annual sales, continues aggressive growth following regional leadership additions such as Dave Dusangh in North America and Hans Bakker in Europe.

Dale Creaser’s retirement marks the end of a long tenure during which he helped scale Mars Food & Nutrition’s manufacturing and distribution footprint.

Mars paid tribute to Creaser’s contributions to operational excellence and to mentoring supply teams across multiple regions.

Sackree’s focus aligns with corporate priorities: innovation in plant-based meals, reduced packaging waste, and expanded distribution partnerships, including recent US deals.

Under the “Better Food Today. A Better World Tomorrow” purpose, the division targets double-digit growth through portfolio optimization and emerging-market penetration.

The transition ensures seamless execution of 2026 goals, from supply efficiencies to global menu diversification.
